Giovanni Schiazza MSc is a PhD student with the Horizon CDT at the University of Nottingham.
His doctoral research draws from the social sciences and computer science to co-develop a tool for researchers to study internet memes.
Meta-Meme is a computational tool for research produced using a Responsible Research and Innovation approach. This is achieved through continuous engagement with academics and civil society.
The Ph.D. research aims to facilitate memetic research and further understand the effects of internet memes on social media users and beyond.

Giovanni's background is in the social sciences, as demonstrated by his BA in Political Science and International Relations and MSc in Political Psychology. His research interests currently include psychological survey research, statistical data analysis and Delphi methodologies.
